I love mushrooms.
I like to have them in soups, Chinese and Italian recipes.
Button mushrooms are available easily but shiitake and oyster are rarely seen in local fresh market.
I soaked them for 8-10 minutes and they were nice and plumped up and I used them in stir fry and soup .
I liked the mild umami flavour. Sweet and mild.
Will use them in Chinese recipes also.

I love these and really wish they sold in a bigger size. I use them in pickled products as they don’t add any moisture to the brine. These also go fabulous in cream sauces that are runny to soak up some of the liquid/flavor.
