    I love mushrooms.
    I like to have them in soups, Chinese and Italian recipes.
    Button mushrooms are available easily but shiitake and oyster are rarely seen in local fresh market.
    I soaked them for 8-10 minutes and they were nice and plumped up and I used them in stir fry and soup .
    I liked the mild umami flavour. Sweet and mild.
    Will use them in Chinese recipes also.

    As it is “Shiitake mushroom”, flavour is completely different from usual mushroom, and this is usually used in Chinese and Japanese traditional cuisine.
